Rodin Museum

Day 16, July 13th: Musée Rodin today! We hopped on to the RER, got off, had lunch at the café across the street form the museums. We enjoyed a nice chat with each other and then headed across the street to the museum. We both found that we really enjoyed the Rodin museum because it's smaller, therefore less intimidating, and only focusses on one artist, so you know what you've signed up for. We walked through the museum, and then enjoyed a pleasant stroll through the garden where we stopped to have some tea and coffee. The slightly colder weather was perfect for enjoying our hot drinks outside. We went in search for the thinker only to find that it's under restoration until the end of July! We will have to come back. Afterwards, we went out to dinner with Robert, Peter, and Stephan at Comptoir du Pantheon. Then the five of us went to Amorino's for some Ice-Cream

  1. Oh..... you didn't get to see The Thinker! Take your classmates there when they arrive if the renovations are complete. The Rodin gardens and museum are one of my all-time favorites.
